The VC University Bootcamp, offered in partnership between NVCA, Venture Forward, UC Berkeley Law Executive Education, and Stanford Law School, is an intensive four-day in-person certificate program designed for advanced investment professionals on the partner track. The inaugural bootcamp was held February 24-27, 2026 at Stanford. The program is tailored for VC professionals transitioning to General Partner roles, including VC University alumni who have advanced in their careers, principals/partners at venture firms, emerging fund managers, and other experienced investors. Through simulations, case studies, and collaborative projects, participants develop expertise in investment theses, term sheet negotiation, and portfolio strategy. Participants are grouped by sector interest (life sciences, impact, software) and assigned experienced facilitators for support.
