Overview

What ASIF Ventures Scout Program offers

What ASIF Ventures Scout Program is

ASIF Ventures (Amsterdam Student Investment Fund) is a student-run venture capital fund founded in 2017, based in Amsterdam and connected to the University of Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit. The fund has supported 25+ startups since its founding and provides students with hands-on VC experience. The fellowship provides part-time, on-site experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, market research, and network building during the academic year. ASIF also operates XLerate, Amsterdam's first student-led incubator (launched in partnership with Tulip Ventures), an 8-week program for student and recent graduate founders with 4-6 contact hours per week, concluding with a PitchXL competition. The fund recruits Deal Flow Fellows, Marketing Fellows, and other roles that provide structured VC learning while contributing to the fund's operations. As a student-run organization, all roles are unpaid but offer genuine investment experience and network access.
