Venture Alliances is an initiative powered by the ENVISIONAlliances project, funded by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The project aims to enhance entrepreneurship among academics across Europe and foster innovation within the business sector. It provides specialized training to equip academics with the necessary tools, skills, and mindset to launch value-creating initiatives on both national and European levels. The ENVISIONAlliances consortium consists of a collaboration between five universities and four private enterprises from five different European countries.

Community focus

Venture Alliances focuses on creating joint ventures between academic researchers and industry enterprises to facilitate the commercialization of research-based innovations. The initiative targets high-impact sectors such as green and environmental technology, information and communication technology (ICT), robotics, nanotechnology, and medical and health technologies. The program aims to pair 100 innovators with 100 industry players to stimulate the development of sustainable business ventures.
