European Female Founders as a community
Community overview
European Female Founders (EFF) is a nonprofit organization established in April 2025 in France, aimed at supporting female entrepreneurship across Europe. The initiative began on May 13, 2022, when 54 women from every EU country convened in Sofia, Bulgaria, to discuss barriers to female entrepreneurship and envision an inclusive ecosystem. EFF was inspired by the European Commission's call for stronger action to support women in entrepreneurship.
Community focus
EFF focuses on three main areas to support female entrepreneurs: Education, Network, and Funding. They empower girls and women with entrepreneurial skills through initiatives like school business camps and leadership coaching. They build a vibrant community of women entrepreneurs through the European Female Founders Network (EFFN) to facilitate connections and collaboration. Additionally, they advocate for policy changes to improve access to capital for women-led startups.
Member value
Members gain access to a supportive network of female entrepreneurs, educational resources, and advocacy for better funding opportunities. EFF provides a platform for collaboration and empowerment among women in entrepreneurship.
