BLCK VC is dedicated to connecting, engaging, empowering, and advancing Black venture investors, aiming to increase their representation in the venture capital industry.

Focus narrative

BLCK VC provides access, education, and community to Black investors, helping to accelerate their careers in venture capital. The organization runs the Black Venture Institute (BVI), a curriculum-based program designed to teach Black operators and executives the foundational elements of becoming angel, scout, and venture investors.

Currently, only 3% of venture capital investors are Black, and only 2% of partners at venture firms are Black.
